• Hot/Cold Process: Material is preheated and media is applied hot
• Spray Type: Special pneumatic and flame applicator nozzle
• Base material: Media used is powdered metals and is dependent on the use
• Options: Dependent on use
• Usually used where increased temperature exposure and or extra wear protection is required
• Can be performed in the field. More advantageous in-house as the application can be environmentally affected
